Lee started playing in high school, music became a second language to him… Someone would say it’s his first language. He opened virtually every McMenamins with an inaugural performance by one of his bands. He was foundational in the formation of the PORTLAND MUSIC scene in the 80s and 90s.
Lee Taylor never holds back. He leaves it all on the stage every night. …for he knows the only way to fill up a reservoir of inspiration is to empty it first.
David Hampton has deep roots in the bluegrass movement, starting on guitar at age 12. In his teens, he became a disciple of the Grateful Dead, focusing on the approach of Jerry Garcia: lyrical, spare, incisive, and deeply moving. Part Garcia, part Santana, David has a sweet tone that can ring like a bell or roar like a lion.
James Peale is the handsome member of the Brothers Jam. He is also a fine, fine keyboard player.
Doug Van Buskirk is the heartbeat of the Brothers Jam.
Dave is a Berklee-trained musician equally dangerous on guitar and bass.
