Lee Taylor is a Pacific Northwest musical pioneer. He has played more gigs than anyone you know, and he has played with virtually everyone you know. A generous and joyful soul, Lee never asks what key a song is in. For every song he plays, it is in the key of life.

Lee started playing in high school, music became a second language to him…

Lee started playing in high school, music became a second language to him… Someone would say it’s his first language. He opened virtually every McMenamins with an inaugural performance by one of his bands. He was foundational in the formation of the PORTLAND MUSIC scene in the 80s and 90s.

Lee Taylor never holds back. He leaves it all on the stage every night. …for he knows the only way to fill up a reservoir of inspiration is to empty it first.

David Hampton

Jamey Hampton-Guitar/Singing

David Hampton

David Hampton has deep roots in the bluegrass movement, starting on guitar at age 12. In his teens, he became a disciple of the Grateful Dead, focusing on the approach of Jerry Garcia: lyrical, spare, incisive, and deeply moving. Part Garcia, part Santana, David has a sweet tone that can ring like a bell or roar like a lion.

James Peale

Doug Van Buskirk

David Hampton

James Peale is the handsome member of the Brothers Jam. He is also a fine, fine keyboard player.

Doug Van Buskirk

Doug Van Buskirk

Doug Van Buskirk is the heartbeat of the Brothers Jam. With a casual sophistication, Doug can cruise along with ease, then turn on a dime and burn this mother down. Fire and brimstone, power and grace.

Dave Rosenberg

Doug Van Buskirk

Doug Van Buskirk

Dave is a Berklee-trained musician equally dangerous on guitar and bass. The fretboard is a magic carpet that Dave's fingers take a trip on while we gaze in wonder, and smile with joy... and a bit of disbelief.
