The Brothers

Jamey has ridden the wave music throughout his life. He has released two CDs of original music, Throw Caution (2000) and Chasing Daylight (2003). He co-founded The Brothers Jam in the 70's, and has played hundreds of shows throughout the Northwest with the collective. From Grateful Dead to Santana, CSNY, Miles, Joni, Tony Rice, Bill Frisell, Allman’s, on and on and on. He loves it all. Known for his exuberant performances, crafty soloing and dramatic delivery, Hampton is at home on the stage.

Jamey hails from Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1976 with a BFA in Drama. He joined Pilobolus Dance Theater in 1978, and helped create Momix and ISO Dance (I’m So Optimistic). His dancing and choreography have taken him around the world, performing throughout Europe, the US, Canada, China, Japan, Central and South America, and the Indian subcontinent. In 1997, he co-founded BodyVox Dance with his wife and partner Ashley Roland. BodyVox is Portland's premiere contemporary dance company. Jamey and Ashley are Co-Artistic Directors.

Lee Taylor is a musical pioneer in the Pacific Northwest music scene. He has played thousands of shows up and down the coast...music festivals, concerts, all night jams...Lee continues to inspire every night. From Band of People to The Stunt Poets, Lee‘s bands opened every  significant Northwest music venue from the 80’s forward. Flute, tenor, soprano, synth.…Lee does it all. And always under the protection of his guardian angel…a plastic pig known as Lydia. 

David Hampton cut his teeth during the bluegrass revolution of the 1970's, starting on guitar when he was 14. He was transfixed by the Grateful Dead in his early 20's, and considers Jerry Garcia his mentor. With a style that is fluid and staccato, solid and vulnerable, David hybridizes his acoustic roots into an amalgamation of Garcia, Carlos Santana, and Peter Rowan, while blazing his own unique trail.

David pioneered the now-world-famous grand scale larch tree happy face in the coast range of Oregon. Pilgrims come from around the world to witness the annual autumn spectacle.
